It’s happened to all of us. You’re driving down the highway and then suddenly, you hear a loud bang followed by your car shuddering violently. The next thing you know, your car has broken down in the middle of nowhere with no cell phone service and little hope for help coming anytime soon. This is an unfortunate situation that many people find themselves in. That’s why it’s important to have an emergency kit ready and to hire a heavy duty towing company just in case something like this happens!
The first thing you should do when your car breaks down in the middle of nowhere is to turn on your hazard lights. This will help those cars behind you see that something is wrong and hopefully they’ll be able to slow down or change lanes so as not hit you.
If there are any nearby buildings, walk around them looking for someone who can come outside and offer assistance. If no one comes out of their house, try knocking on doors until someone answers. You never know what might happen!
